Gimmonix Rebranding and Marketing Materials

Gimmonix is a travel technology company that provides an AI-powered platform for travel businesses (like online travel agencies, TMCs) to connect, manage, and optimize hotel sales and distribution, helping them increase revenue by normalizing hotel data, finding better rates in real-time, and streamlining operations with automation.
Problems to Solve
As of now Gimmonix Suite includes 6 products, often marketed separately (especially Ratefox), as a first step of signing the Clients. Unfortunately, that often led to the situations of unclarity, like Clients not being able to attribute certain products to the company and vice versa. Radical differences in branding between some products also surely didnt help. Our main goal was thus to unify the Suite visually and establish Gimmonix as a "mother brand".

Redesign
I joined the rebranding process right in the middle of the storm. My area of responsiblity would include creative direction, library building and branding implementation across marketing materials.
The brand research was already done by the agency, with 2 main concepts at the final stages.
First one was called “We are like Porsche” and was presented to embody engineering precision, uncompromising performance, and reliability in managing travel data. The products would be differentiated not by colors, as before, but by shapes. It was a drastic change from the old branding in every way, as well as our competition.

First main rebranding concept
Both me and my manager agreed that first concept is straying a bit too far from the industry standard and the company code.
Second concept however seemed like a better fit.
It's idea was that as an energy system, Gimmonix manages the flow of travel information, connecting data providers with those who use this data through products that work together as a cohesive network. All products would be assigned color codes and separate iconography as well.
